    Keeping staples stocked, esp canned beans, that are easy to drain and rinse, and throw on top of a salad fie a quick, nutritious and inexpensive meal!

    Using my slow cooker and keeping my pantry stocked with the basics helps me out tremendously.

    For big dinners I cut up the potatoes ahead of time and cover with salty water. I cut up all vegetables and put in ziploc bags and putg in frig. Saves time and nerves.

    My favorite cooking shortcut is to make a double recipe of dishes that can be frozen and serve one today and freeze the other for another day.

    slow cooker… throw it all in the am and walk away… also like freezer meals that I throw in the slow cooker…

    I cook a larger cut of meat, such as a roast or a whole chicken, and then the meat is cooked for another meal or two, saving me time.
