My favorite cooking shortcut is to make a double recipe of dishes that can be frozen and serve one today and freeze the other for another day.

Use my crock pot. Love it especially on busy days. Chili, anyone?
I cook a larger cut of meat, such as a roast or a whole chicken, and then the meat is cooked for another meal or two, saving me time.
I get your emails.
I often cook twice the amount of food for dinner and freeze one half – great on busy nights, just thaw and heat

My slow cooker and my rice cookery are my two biggest time savers in the kitchen.
My favorite time saving cooking shortcut is to wash and cut up all of my fruits and veggies as soon after I get home from the grocery as possible so that they are ready to go when cooking.
