Menu Plan “Wednesday”

by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on July 14, 2010

It’s better late than never, right?!

I discovered reason #217 for why one should have a fully stocked freezer.

Having dinner on hand when returning home from a trip.

The very last thing you want to do after a day of unpacking, laundering 8 loads of dirty clothes that have been stuffed in a suitcase all day, and grocery shopping to fill up the fridge that has been empty for the last week, is cook.

So thankful for my stocked freezer.  And for a menu plan for the rest of the week anyways…

Monday - Expensive Atlanta Airport Food (We do our best to avoid buying food in airports, but an inevitable delay forced us to eat out!)

Tuesday – Cowboy Pie with Biscuits (Recipe coming as soon as I catch up on my inbox and get photos loaded!)

Wednesday – Spaghetti…Birthday Boy Request!

Thursday – Grilled Chicken

Friday – Sausage Muffins and Eggs with Fruit

Saturday – Leftovers

Sunday – Burgers and Salad from the Garden

If you see a meal you are interested in, please check back for the recipe later in the week!

Hi Erin,

I am new to your site but extremely excited. In my family there is also myself my boyfriend and our sons 4 and 1. Recently we have also added my boyfriends sister her boyfriend and her boyfriends son to the mix so I will hopefully be able to tweak the recipeas just a bit to make enough for all of us.

Any who I tried going to the Pantry staples link and it just takes me to the recipe cards. I could really use that list. I am terrible at shopping and saving money, but with adding three people to my house and no extra income it is now a neccessity.

Thanks,
Stephanie
