I’m hoping to spend $20-25 this week at the store. When I couldn’t find space in the fridge and freezer to put away last week’s groceries, I thought it high time for a Pantry-Fridge-Freezer Challenge!
With the exception of ground chuck (which is on sale for $1.67/lb this week!!!), I’ll just be buying the basics…produce, eggs, milk and bread.
So here’s the plan for this week’s Pantry-Fridge-Freezer Challenge…
Monday - Beefy Mac Soup
Tuesday – Baked Italian Chicken
Wednesday – Beef Roast with Carrots from the Garden
Thursday – Baked Chicken Fingers
Friday – Breakfast Casserole with Fruit
Saturday – Spaghetti
Sunday - Leftovers or Sandwiches
I will post the recipes each night after I make the meal. If you see a meal you are interested in, please check back for the recipe later in the week!
Thanks to Andrea at Mommy Snacks and Marcy at Stretching a Buck for posting the best deals and coupon matchups at my stores each week!

Oh yum everything sounds so great. Can’t wait to see the recipe for Beefy Mac Soup. That sounds like something my husband would really like!
Ooh, I can’t wait for Beefy Mac Soup. We are big fans of hamburger stew with or without pasta tossed in now that it’s starting to get chillier outside.
Sounds like a yummy week at your house.
What a great idea! I haven’t gotten to that point yet but, I need to clean my pantry before the holiday baking season begins so…maybe I will do a purge soon.
One of my online twin mommies turned me onto this site today and already I have so many recipes I want to try. Thanks for doing this!!! Having 2 yr old twins limits my time in the kitchen and my brain to come up with new meals all the time!
