by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on December 14, 2008

Monday – Chili and Cornbread (gluten free)

Tuesday – Asian Chicken Wraps

Wednesday – Spaghetti with Homemade Sauce and Green Beans

Thursday – Apple BBQ Chicken

Friday – Leftovers

Saturday – Cooking Hiatus Begins! Have no fear, the frugal fun will not stop!!! And I’ll be back in the kitchen in the new year with many more meals to come!

I will post the recipes each night as we eat the meal!

A few great deals this week!!! More Free Toilet Paper! There is a coupon in this week’s paper for $.50 off Cottonelle, which doubles at Kroger. So the $.99 4 packs are FREE with just the paper coupon! If you have the electronic Cottonelle coupons from Shortcuts.com and Cellfire.com, you could actually make some $$$ on this deal :)

$5 Diapers this week!!! A great deal on Huggies Diapers at Kroger this week…check out the details here. Don’t forget about Caregivers Marketplace! They will give you $1 for EACH pack of Jumbo Huggies that you buy!

Hello. I kept meaning to tell you that I was excited to read about you in the paper a few weeks ago! I live in Centerville too and had come across your blog from time to time through Money Saving Mom! I had no idea you were local to me! I have bookmarked you now… :)

How do you use more than one coupon on each item, since coupons say “One coupon per purchase”? Does the checkout clerk just not notice?

My husband is the budget shopper and actually pretty good at it.
He goes to 99 cent store. You can get 3 rolls for 99 cents.

Your menu sounds good this week. Especially the Asian Chicken Wraps. I would love the recipe to that. :)
