Magnetic Lunch Charts

by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on August 16, 2011

Want to make sure that you child brings home an empty lunchbox everyday?! Let them choose what goes in their lunch and chances of this happening are much higher!

Martha Stewart has a fabulous (and free!) magnetic lunch chart…where you can print the chart and the food labels.  Print the schedule onto cardstock and laminate or cover with clear contact paper. Then all you need is a magnet roll that you can cut up and add magnets to the backs of the schedule and labels.  Put it center stage on your fridge, or in your family’s planning center.

Perfect way to empower your child to choose and eat healthy lunches at school!

Love it! Would be nice if it had a veggie category too – my son would pick those over a sandwich any day!

There is magnet paper for the printer – then all you have to do is cut the food items.
