do you need to have the seafood spices? Or can you get away with out it? I was thinking of using a veggies and some of the leftover mashed taters from dinner last night. :)

Also is there a way to subscribe to a thread so I don't have to keep checking for the answer?

This meal looks like something our family of 9 will LOVE! I'm going to try it this week AND making a dinner for 9 for under $10 is a great treat because lately that has been quite hard to do!

Erin, I'm curious. Do you buy the brined chicken breasts that come in three pound bags? Or do you buy the all natural ones from the meat department. I find the brined ones moist but sometimes so salty. But then the unbrined are sometimes dry. Your always look so moist and delicious.

We make fries like that alot, except that I cook the potatoes whole in the microwave for a bit first, then cut them into the shape I want, sprinkle with olive oil and seasonings and then they only take 10 of 15 minutes in the oven. It's much faster and for us it tastes the same. We love fries that way.

This recipe looks fantastic, I'd like to give it a try soon. By the way, I have your book, it is really excellent, very good job. I have a large family and I have been frugal for many years, most books aren't helpful to me but yours really was. Thank you!

I thought the fries looked really yummy and I got a great deal on potatoes so I might have to make them tomorrow. I am going to have to see if I have chili powder. Suggestion to all those lazy cooks out there (or mom's who forget)- there are these neat pizza trays that have holes in it and it lets the stuff cook on both sides so it is nice because it isn't such as big deal to flip everything. I use mine for everything!

Those fries look awesome. I'm baking some boneless chicken tomorrow too. I have not baked much boneless chicken before. Can't wait to try it. It looks so easy!
