Kroger Shopping Trip – The “I Only Have $25 Left to Spend” Edition

Shopping with the $5 Dinner Mom

Oh boy, there’s a Mega Event week this week. But I will have to wait until next week to take advantage of the great savings! Like the Ro-tel and canned tomatoes!

I present to you my fairly boring week…just getting the very basics…keeping to our $240 budget for January with all that was left…$25!

And this is a perfect week for a “light” week, as we have a number of commitments this week.  We have a church dinner, where I’ll bring a dessert, a school fundraiser dinner, and another church dinner, where I will bring a side dish. The rest of the days we will enjoy all this fresh produce, and use up some meats and frozen veggies in the freezer!

Kroger

I only used 2 coupons…a $1 catalina from last week and a $.55/1 blinkie coupon for the Almond Milk.

And if it weren’t for the change in my wallet, I’d have had to bust out my debit card!

(Which is a no-no for me at the grocery store!)

Total spent at Kroger: $26.41

Total for the month: $64.14 + $72.13 +$59.41 + $20-ish + $26.41 = $242.09
