You can pair this with the Albertson’s kraft promotion Huddle to fight hunger. Buy 5 participating items get $5 catalina, and they will give 5 meals to feeding america. I did this yesterday, the Kraft natural shredded cheese are on sale 2/$4 this week. I bought 5 used the $5/5 coupon, paid $5 and got $5 back in catalina! The best part is this is a rolling deal so I can go back and buy 5 more and use my coupon, and pay with the catalina and it will be absolutely FREE! So this is all for a good cause, meanwhile you can stock up on some shredded cheese which actually freezes quite nicely!

A word of caution; Wal Mart refuses to honor these coupons at face value.

Mercedes over at Common Sense with Money has a few good ideas listed here; the best bet looks to be at Meijer if you have one close to you.

Also, this may be a good “hold ‘em” coupon for use at Kroger (think Mega Event sale…Kraft products are often participating items) or at Target (which occasionally has Target store printable coupons for Kraft products). Since it expires 30 days post-print, you can print it and wait for the best deal closest to you.

I’m new to the whole using coupons thing believe it or not :-)), but what is catalina?

A catalina is a coupon that prints out at the register after you are done with your transaction when you buy the participating items. You can use them like cash on most items, unless otherwise noted, you pretty much just can’t use them on alcohol and stuff like that. I hope that answers your question!

You can print 2 of the Kraft coupons. Here is what I did at Albertson’s:
Bought 5 Kraft shredded cheese – Used the $5 coupon – Received $5 catalina – $5 OOP
I went back and bought 5 more Kraft cheeses. Used the $5 coupon AND the $5 catalina = FREE!
Then I used the $5 catalina on 5 Cool Whips that are 5/$5 = FREE! and received ANOTHER $5 catalina. I did this twice. You could keep on getting the FREE Cool Whip. I stopped at 10 – enough to get through the holidays and I have the room for in my freezer.
SO…10 cheese, 10 Cool Whip and STILL have a $5 catalina = FREE for ALL! :)

I went to the site, played the game and there was no mention of coupon. Am I missing something or is it over?
