With the start of the Fall and Holiday Travel Seasons, I wanted to introduce you all to the “Kids Love” Travel Book Series…and do a giveaway too!

I must say…I’m quite impressed.  Michele sent me the Kids Love I-75 book (makes sense, right, I’m in Ohio and I-75 runs right near our house) and I was struck right away with the comprehensive coverage the book provides for all the kiddo friendly activities around here.  I’m not from Ohio originally, so I don’t have the luxury of automatically knowing what fun kid friendly things there are to do in the area.  Ask me a kid friendly thing to do in or around the San Antonio area and I’ve got it covered.  But around here, I got nothing.

Well, I did have nothing. Now I have Michele’s fabulous book. And we now have what will likely be a never ending list of places to visit and things to see/explore in Ohio!!! And Georgia. And Florida. (Hmm…maybe a road trip is in order soon…)

With some expert advice and a little planning, you should be ready to “get out and go” on a family adventure! By  gathering the extra help from one of these travel books, you’ll have thousands of ideas that are sure to be a real hit with the kids!

This week, I’ll be giving away 5 of Michele’s books.  (And I’ll let you choose which books…ones that would help you find the activities in your area! She has quite a few Kids Love state guides available on her site. You can also find more information and ideas for kids travel games on her site as well.)

Agreed! I feel like I’m just learning the great places to take kids in Ohio (my boys are 5) – Hands-on/science/children’s museums are great, and we also like arboretums and festivals and fruit orchards and off-the-beaten-path sort of things.
A preschool teacher recommended Aullwood Nature Center in the Dayton area but we haven’t been there yet…

We homeschool, so anywhere we can go is turned into an educational experience. We live in Indiana, so anywhere in neighboring states is a wonderful option. Thanks!
