{CLOSED} Jif Chocolate Hazelnut Spreads – $50 Gift Card & Gift Basket Giveaway

Two weeks ago, I was up in Canton for a Savings Nation coupon class. My hotel was 20 minutes from Orrville, OH…and when I figured that out, I emailed my friends at Smuckers and asked if I could come by to say hi! They graciously accepted…we had breakfast, a quick tour of their new headquarters building, and then we stopped at “product row.”

And that’s when I saw it….the jars of what you see above. *swoon*

First question I asked, “How is it different from Nutella?”

The answer…well, the flavor is somewhat different, and the consistency is thicker, more like peanut butter.

I replied with, “That makes sense…because I think Nutella is a bit drippy, and can be messy. From my experience with me.”

I left with a few jars to experiment with…and I made these brownies…that weekend. I took them to a potluck, and they were gone in minutes!

And they were right. Consistency is much thicker, which I do prefer. And the Mocha Cappuccino flavor….well. I may or may not have  eaten  half the jar a few spoonfuls straight outta the jar. #giggle

(Quick note – Jif Chocolate Hazelnut spreads are hitting grocery shelves nationwide as we speak…it will be in the peanut butter aisle. As of last week, my store still doesn’t have it stocked. So don’t fret if you don’t see it yet…it’s coming!)

Uses and Recipe Ideas

• Breakfast: Spread on top of toast, waffles or pancakes for a delicious way to start the day.
• Hot and Cold Beverages: Add to coffee, hot chocolate or a milk shake for a unique twist on a favorite beverage.
• Snack: Spread onto s’mores, instead of chocolate bars for a tasty treat or simply enjoy with pretzels or graham crackers.
• Dessert: Use as an icing on your favorite brownies or drizzle over ice cream.
