|A Portion of the Ingredients – Italian Bread, Salad Mix and Prego Sauce|
2 Loaves of Bakery Fresh Sesame Italian Bread (sale $1 each) $2.00
26 oz. Jar of Prego Sauce $1.88
2 pounds of Perdue ground chicken $3.98
4 ounces of Cabot sharp cheddar cheese (an 8 oz block is $1.88) .94 cents
1/2 a bag of Dole romaine salad mix (12 oz bag cost $1.75) .88 cents

Fry the ground chicken until browned and fully cooked. Transfer to a large pan. Add the Prego sauce and mix together. Heat on medium until heated together.

Slice up the Italian bread into small subs. Then slice each one open to fill with the burger mixture. On a separate plate, slice the cheese into small cubes. Begin preparing each serving. Put some of the salad mix on one of the plates.

Top the salad with pieces of cheddar cheese. You can also add a little of the cheese to each sub.
