CLOSED! Ionic Hair Dryer and Flat Iron from Folica.com – Win Giveaways

by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on November 12, 2011

***This giveaway is now closed. Winner is Alison R…congrats!

If I were going to be a poster child for a product, it would be a flat iron. And now that I’ve had a chance to try it, the ionic hair dryer too.

I have always had very high maintenance hair.

It’s wavy. Not curly. Not straight. Wavy. It’s very frizzy, very sensitive to humidity and has trouble behaving in most situations.

Until now, that is!!!

This is me. Being a goof. Last night…in the back seat on the way to my brother’s wedding rehearsal.

See the flat?! Last time it was that flat was when I was on The View a few weeks ago and had a stylist put the final touches on my hair.

Folica.com sent me the Solia Ionic Hair Dryer and Flat Iron to try on “the beast.” As you can see, they work quite well…

Solia 1875W Thermal Ionic Hair Dryer: The Solia Thermal Ionic Dryer is an Italian engineered, 1875 Watt Professional Thermal Ionic Dryer designed to produce millions of negative ions that benefit the hair, making it shinier, smoother, and healthier.

Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron (1-1/4″) plus free heat proof pouch: Features the Dynamic Alignment System to ensure perfect contact between your hair and the plates. It supplies even heat distribution for true silky straight hair. Its ceramic/tourmaline ion technology will generate gentle far-infrared heat and extra negative ions to create the perfectly frizz-free hair without heat damage. Now available in classic black, pink, red and purple color editions.

I am in love with these 2 products! Seriously. In LOVE.

I’m now finally able to get that “salon styled” hair, from my own bathroom. Who knew that the “ionic” hair dyer could get my hair so flat, and in half the time as my “regular” hair dryer. And then it only takes me a few minutes to run the flat iron for that final smooth and polished look.

I’m kissing my bad hair days goodbye!

Folica.com is your one-stop shopping site for all of your haircare needs. They carry almost every product that you can think of to clean, condition, treat and style your hair. They offer free shipping on orders over $50 and often run a promotion for anywhere from 10-20% off your entire order!

COUPON CODE: Folica.com is offering an exclusive code to my readers: Save 30% off the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron (1-1/4″) plus free heat proof pouch and the Solia 1875W Thermal Ionic Hair Dryer when you use the code: SOLIASAVINGS at checkout. This code is only valid through 11/18/2011!

I would love to win this! My hair is super fine so it gets frizzy in our high humidity. I’ve been told a flat iron might help but never want to spend the $$$!

I have curly hair that frizzes at the mention of blow drying. I would love to have this set to use. My hairstylist uses and ion dryer and flat iron which does NOT frizz my hair.

I have such thick hair with a wave to it. If I dont straighten it, I could dub myself helmet head ;) these sound like great products!

I would use the hair dryer and flat iron on my own hair. It is very thin, so needs manageable tools to make it look great!

My frizzy permed hair would really benefit from these beauty appliances. Without perms, my hair is fine, thin & flyaway. With perms it gets frizzy. Can’t win :o(

I would love the hair dryer and flat iron, mine are just plain conair and really old and don’t work that well anymore, I have weird not cute wavy hair in the back and straight in the front if I didn’t have a flat iron I would look strangely weird everyday..
Thanks,
Erin

My hair could really use a good straightener. It gets super wavy and poofy and the straightener would smooth it out.
