CLOSED! Ionic Hair Dryer and Flat Iron from Folica.com – Win Giveaways

by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on November 12, 2011

***This giveaway is now closed. Winner is Alison R…congrats!

If I were going to be a poster child for a product, it would be a flat iron. And now that I’ve had a chance to try it, the ionic hair dryer too.

I have always had very high maintenance hair.

It’s wavy. Not curly. Not straight. Wavy. It’s very frizzy, very sensitive to humidity and has trouble behaving in most situations.

Until now, that is!!!

This is me. Being a goof. Last night…in the back seat on the way to my brother’s wedding rehearsal.

See the flat?! Last time it was that flat was when I was on The View a few weeks ago and had a stylist put the final touches on my hair.

Folica.com sent me the Solia Ionic Hair Dryer and Flat Iron to try on “the beast.” As you can see, they work quite well…

Solia 1875W Thermal Ionic Hair Dryer: The Solia Thermal Ionic Dryer is an Italian engineered, 1875 Watt Professional Thermal Ionic Dryer designed to produce millions of negative ions that benefit the hair, making it shinier, smoother, and healthier.

Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron (1-1/4″) plus free heat proof pouch: Features the Dynamic Alignment System to ensure perfect contact between your hair and the plates. It supplies even heat distribution for true silky straight hair. Its ceramic/tourmaline ion technology will generate gentle far-infrared heat and extra negative ions to create the perfectly frizz-free hair without heat damage. Now available in classic black, pink, red and purple color editions.

I am in love with these 2 products! Seriously. In LOVE.

I’m now finally able to get that “salon styled” hair, from my own bathroom. Who knew that the “ionic” hair dyer could get my hair so flat, and in half the time as my “regular” hair dryer. And then it only takes me a few minutes to run the flat iron for that final smooth and polished look.

I’m kissing my bad hair days goodbye!

My hair is inbetween, not really straight but not really curly, but always puffy and frizzy. I’d love to try out the flat iron or the blow dryer!

My hair is naturally curly, so my main problem is frizz.

My hair has some wave to it (thanks to hormone changes during pregnancy!!), so any of these tools would be great to straighten it.

The problem is not so much mine as my daughters. Her hair has a mind of its own. Hopefully this would help tame the mane!

My daughter would especially love the flat iron and I would love the new hairdryer. I know these are good products and would be better for my hair.
