There is a HUGE difference between evaporated milk and sweetened condensed. If you want it to taste sweet go with the condensed.

Have you tried the caramel sauce made from condensed milk that you boil for 4 hours? It is DIVINE! I made it for Thanksgiving Still have some left so that would be perfect for this
