by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on October 26, 2012

Y’all…just wanted to drop a friendly reminder that the Hurst Beans Handmade Clay Cooking Pot Giveaway is still open! You’ve got until Wednesday (Halloween!) at 5 pm EST to get your entries in!

This month I’ve posted recipes for Spicy Calico 15 Beans and Rice and Pinto Beans with Andouille Sausage…and I’ll be sharing more recipes and ideas in December and in 2013 as well!

(Wow, 2013…wasn’t that a year in the time machine in the Back to the Future movies?)

Helpful Dried Beans Recipes

Disclosure: This giveaway reminder post is part of a Hurst Beans paid partnership. Opinions are my own, as always.

I would make Rice and Pinto Beans with Andouille . I most likely use spicy Portuguese chourico in place of the Andouille sausage. Next I would make Boston Baked Beans in the HURST BEANS HANDMADE CLAY POT .

My girls love beans! We’re all vegetarians, so we get a lot of use out of beans!
