It’s a new year and we have all kinds of new things happening as we say goodbye to 2016 & look ahead to 2017!
Before we get to the NEW (seems to be the word of the weekend!) goodies that we have for you, I wanted to share briefly about resolutions and offer some encouragement as you move into a new year.
Change is hard. Change is good. I’ve witnessed and experienced change on so many levels over the years. I’ve done the “cold turkey” rapid change thing. I’ve done the “slow and steady” change thing. I’ve watched others slowly falter because of poor choices. I’ve seen others commit to improving themselves on different levels and finding success because of their commitment and habit changes. When I reflect on all the change I’ve seen in others and felt myself over the years, I see 2 layers.
The first is choice. You have a reason for choosing to do something differently. This is what starts you down the path of taking action. The motivation and circumstances surrounding the decision will help drive permanent change.
The second is habit. Once you’ve made the choice, making new habits or forging new ones is what will lead to lasting change. This is also what will lead to you seeing results, and these results become a new motivator to you, and the positive cycle continues and you’re happy with your changes and improvements.
In my opinion, when you want to make lasting changes (and not empty resolution commitments) you make the choice and you start with which habits to create or change. Then you commit to the habits, stick to the habits, resist the temptation to falter, and then move onto the next area you wish to make improvements.
Of course, there will be moments and phases when you falter. Falter, then climb back up on the horse, or jump back on the bandwagon. Also, don’t try to change 87 things at once. Choose that one thing, then stick to it. Until you’re ready for the next area or change.
IF…IF…IF…getting organized, or saving money, or eating smarter (planning meals more wisely) is on this list of habits to create or improvements to make in you life, I can help.
I understand these levels of change and improvement and the deep need to save money and save sanity and stay “one step ahead” of my family that never stops eating. (If we haven’t met yet, I’m Erin and I have 4 boys, ages 3 to 11…and yes, I know it’s only going to get worse. Send help…rather, send cereal…lots and lots of cereal. 😛 )
I understand the need for simplicity and the desire to get and see results in your efforts.
This is why I have designed our tools, resources and workshops the way that I have – to teach you, to help you dig in, and to help you make smarter habits and lasting changes.
You know you need to save money, so you choose to do that. Then you start making changes to your habits – but which ones do I need to change. I don’t know how I can beat the grocery store at it’s own game.
Well, I want to show you…how to beat the grocery store, and how to beat yourself too 🙂
If saving money and being a smarter grocery shopper is on your list of changes and improvements for 2017, I highly recommend you sign up for my free grocery savings workshop!
In the online workshop, we’ll talk about the 5 mistakes you don’t know you’re making in the grocery store, coming up with a battle plan for your grocery planning and shopping, and take a close look at how much you SHOULD be spending on groceries.
This online workshop is brand NEW (there’s that word again) and I know you’ll learn a ton! Sign up here!
At the conclusion of the workshop, we will have a very short registration period for my Grocery Budget Makeover course! Registration is only open from January 4th through January 9th, and the winter class starts January 10th!
Another fun new resource we have coming your way…
We have a NEW Instant Pot cooking course launching this month, called Electric Pressure Cooking 101. If you are terrified of using the new Instant Pot you received (or bought for yourself!) for Christmas, then you need this class. Whether you’re worried about blowing up your kitchen, or singeing off your eyebrows, you needn’t worry anymore.
In this class, we’ll look at all the parts and functions of your Instant Pot, as well as how to cook certain types/groups of foods, and I’ll walk you through the first 10 recipes you should make in your Instant Pot. (With recipes and shopping lists, of course!)
Pre-order the class and we will release the course on January 24th (the same time we open up our Instant Pot category within the MyFreezEasy apps!)
Here’s to an amazing year of electric pressure cooking and Instant Pot-ing!
You can pre-order EPC101 NOW...and you’ll get a discount when you do!
The MyFreezEasy freezer meal membership program continues to improve and grow as well! We just released the NEW Android and Apple mobile & tablet apps for our members – so now they can plan from their phones or tablets!
We also a brand new member area that will better teach and equip our members to find success with both freezer cooking and MyFreezEasy tools and apps! The design and layout are aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, to help our members be successful quickly in their freezer meal prep efforts.
We have also made some changes to our membership options and now have a monthly, quarterly and annual payment options. All of the options offer access to our “meal plan building tools” as well as to the mobile apps. (You must be a member to access and use the mobile/tablet apps.)
On January 24th, we will be increasing the prices of the membership very slightly. Since I know you’re into saving money, I thought I’d let you know in advance. If you join between now and then, you’ll get grandfathered in at the price you joined and will keep that membership price as long as your membership stays active.
I know this is a lot of NEW information and updates, but thought having it all in one place would help you see all that amazing tools and resources we have available for you in 2017!
I trust you will see the immense value our tools have in helping you, and know that we are committed to your success!
Here’s to a happy, healthy, organized, and delicious 2017!
