Despite my best efforts to maintain a balanced and steady pace to life, it’s just moving too fast right now. Last week, I hit the grocery store dressed in a wacky outfit, with bright green eye makeup and bright red lipstick. (I had just been with a group of friends visiting another friend who was in the hospital, awaiting surgery.)
This week, I hit the grocery store with 2 of the kids while the other was at his OT appointment. It was the only time slot I had…and we were out of milk. And bananas. And cereal. I also didn’t spend much time getting my grocery list together or gather my coupons…for two reasons.
1. I got in late Sunday night from a weekend conference.
2. I just came down with a lovely cold. So I’m all hopped up on psuedophedrine…so I can breathe, you know. And it kinda makes me have a hard time focusing. I’d be afraid to try to piece together a decent grocery list and coupons while feeling all “decongestant funny.” I might end up buying cat food…and we don’t have a cat.
One day I’ll get back into a regular grocery shopping routine. Maybe.
(I don’t have a photos from either trip, but I spent about $74 last week and $92.17 on Monday.)
Total spent at Kroger, past 2 weeks: $166.17
Total for the month: $41.38 + $166.17 = $207.55
