I mix together minced garlic melted butter and parmesan cheese and spread it over the leftover buns to make individual garlic breads. YUMMY!

  2. Susan says

I plan on emailing my “couponers” distribution list and all my friends and family about this contest.

  3. Susan says

I am not all that creative. I have used left over bread, even when it is slightly stale to completely for french toast, bread pudding, instead of bread crumbs to make meatloaf, garlic bread, etc.

  4. Sunny says

My favorite thing to do with leftover bread buns is to cover them in butter and garlic and bake them for a few minutes. Heaven!! Garlic type toast to go with dinner 😀

  5. says

I want to win the Sarah Lee Hamburger Buns and the Hot Dog Buns.

    Was promoted on facebook.

  9. Heather D says

I use them from everything to grilled cheese sandwiches, breadcrumbs for my meatloaf, tuna melts…and the kids love, love, love taking them to the local pond (after they’ve gone stale of course) and letting the ducks and geese enjoy them! Makes for great family time!

  10. Jennifer says

It is not every day we have leftovers, But when i do i like to make my chicken casserole with garlic bread crumbs on top the family loves it.

  11. janie brown says

So boring-not a bit creative, but buns are so yummy we just toast and eat them with dinner! My kiddos think it is a great treat though and it saves me from buying rolls for dinner!

  12. Jessica says

With any left over breads I will take my 3 year old and 8 month old down to the city park by the boat docks to feed the ducks and also to fed the carp fish… My oldest really loves doing this and we try to at least a few times a week.

  13. Eugenia says

Love $5 Dinners! And would LOVE to win the buns. E-mailed another $5 Dinners fan to be sure she knew of the giveaway. Thanks for all you do to help us be better stewards of all the Lord has given us.

  14. Lindsey says

I use leftover bread to make pineapple stuffing or some people call it pineapple bread pudding. With a few recent Dole sales/coupons I get the pineapple for free:)
