The $5 Dinners Weekly Meal Plan with Printable Grocery List

Scroll down and you’ll see a list of ingredients for each of the recipes included, in the order they are listed above. I’ll include ALL ingredients, including many that you already have in your pantry, refrigerator, or freezer. If you have those ingredients, just don’t click them!

Put a check mark by each of the ingredients, and then print your grocery list and be on your way to the grocery store!

Citrus Rosemary Roasted Chicken

1 whole chicken
Olive oil
about 1 tsp seasoning salt
about 1 tsp garlic powder
about 1 tsp pepper
Rosemary sprigs
1 large or 2 small oranges
2 lemons
Gravy optional: about 1 tsp Flour or brown rice flour if GF
Serve with Dinner Rolls (or brown rice if GF) and Broccoli

Spicy 15 Bean Chili

1 bag 15 bean soup
1 small onion
1 jalapeno
1 pound ground beef
1 28 oz. crushed tomatoes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp chili powder
Serve with a side of veggies

Mexican Carnitas

1.5 lb pork shoulder or loin
2 Tbsp oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup lime juice or juice from 1 lime
8 corn tortillas
Salsa, diced avocado, sour cream dollops to garnish
Corn Cobs

Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan

2-4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 Tbs. olive oil
1 egg
4-6 slices mozzarella cheese
1 jar (28-ounces) favorite marinara sauce
Serve over pasta

Spinach Orzo Soup

8 cups liquid (I used 4 cups chicken stock, 4 cups water)
2 cups chopped carrots
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 10 oz. box frozen spinach
2 cups white beans (or 1 15 oz. can white beans)
1 tsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp minced onion
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 1/4 cup orzo pasta
Parmesan cheese for each serving
Serve as is or with a side of salad and fresh bread

Cinnamon Walnut Quinoa

2 cups white quinoa
1/4 cup sweetener (I used brown sugar)
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
Couple handfuls of chopped walnuts
Couple handfuls of raisins, or dried cranberries
Optional: Milk, cream or yogurt
Serve with fresh fruit

Grilled Doughnuts Strawberry Shortcake

4 glazed donuts
10-12 large strawberries
2 Tbsp sugar
Dollops of whipped cream, or scoop of ice cream

Easy Cashew Bark

3 cups or one 12 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups salted cashew pieces
