Slow Cooker Spicy Sausage and Peppers 1 lb. sausage links 1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes 1 10 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chilies 2 10 oz. bags frozen pepper and onion blend Serve with sliced bread Savory Slow Cooker Chicken and Butternut Squash 3 small chicken breasts (about 1 1/3 lb.) 2 tsps red wine vinegar 1/2 bag baby carrots, or 4-5 peeled carrots sticks 1 butternut squash 2 tsp Italian seasonings Serve with whole wheat dinner rolls or toast with butter Shrimp Mango Curry 1 Tbsp olive oil 1 bunch green onions 2 garlic cloves 1 15 oz can light coconut milk 1 1/2 Tbsp curry powder 1 tsp ground ginger 3/4 to 1 pound shrimp, with or without tails, cooked or raw 1 mango 1 cup brown rice, cooked Cilantro for garnish Brown Sugar Balsamic Pork Chops 4 pork chops, about 1 1/4 lb. 2-3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar 4 tsp brown sugar Serve with your favorite potatoes or pasta and side of veggies Split Pea and Asparagus Soup 1 package Hurst HamPeas, split peas 1 cup chopped carrots 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup chopped celery about 1/2 lb. asparagus, chopped 3 cloves garlic, chopped 1 Tbsp olive oil or butter Ham bone Toast – 8 slices of french or other artisan bread Butter for toast Garlic salt (or garlic powder and salt) about 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese Sour cream, for garnish Sausage Apple Egg Casserole 6 slices wheat bread 1 lb. mild sausage 1 onion 1 granny smith apple 8 eggs 1/2 cup milk Server with fresh fruit If you are seeing this in an email or in your reader and you’d like to print your grocery list, then click here to access the list feature, which is only available on the website.
