I’ve had this at Silver Dollar City and I make it at home, and either way it’s awesome! I often also add sweet potatoes into the mix. Delicious!!

I make this as well but I use green beans and corn as well as a nice dose of minced garlic and some pepper. I put it in the crockpot for several hours and by dinner time it is yum-o! Serve it with fresh-from-the-oven cornbread and you have some happy little campers who don’t mind eating their vegetables. =) We call this smoked sausage stew. Simple.

I make the same meal but I use green beans instead of corn. Never had thought about the corn.
