I plan my meals around the newspaper store ads. I’d love software.
Oh boy. I hate meal planning. It goes in waves for me. I decide to dig in and ‘just do it’ and a few weeks later I’m back to staring in th fridge at 4p hoping that Wonderpets keeps he kidlets occupied while I make waffles. The irony is that I love to plan. However, I hate when people don’t get on board with my plan – and you know, toddlers have their own ideas about what they’re going to eat on any given day. I know this. I accept this. And it still drives me nuts;)
I like menu planning, but I rend to get distracted looking up recipes lol
like on facebook
I realize that when I plan my menu for 1-2 weeks I save $…However, I have not made a habit of it, yet…
I like cream cheese stuffed french toast. That sounded good!!!
I like menu planning, but it takes forever! I have a hard time picking out what I want to eat for the next few weeks.
I’m also a fan on Facebook!
I DON’T REALLY HAVE A MEAL PLAN BY THE DAY HOWEVER I DO FOOD SHOP BY WHAT I WILL MAKE ON A MONTHLY BASIS. SINCE I SHOP FOR FOOD FOR THE MONTH I DO SIT DOWN AND DECIDE WHAT I WILL COOK FOR A MONTH . IT WORKS OUT REALLY WELL. I DECIDE IN THE MORNING FOR WHAT I WILL MAKE FOR DINNER. I AM A STAY AT HOME MOM WITH 2 BOYS STILL AT HOME. FOR ME PLANNING AHEAD FOR DAILY MEALS JUST DOESNT WORK FOR ME.
I love the idea of planning dinners. When I tried it one week it was great for me because, well dinnner was planned when I got home from work. Unfortunately my family seems to prefer picking dinner each day dependent on their whims. Or, is that just my husband?

I dont plan very well, but Id like to get better.
I like menu planning but I’m with LB in that I get caught up in all the new recipes that I want to try. Sometimes I get a little too ambitious.
I also “liked” $5 Dinners on Facebook.
Third, I “liked’ the Baked Black Beans and Salsa Chicken post you did a while back. Anything with a salsa/black bean/chicken combo is yummy in my book!
My meal planning depends on what sport’s season it is. It is most difficult during the wintertime when DH is coaching basketball and DD is playing, but at different times! UGH! I do best in the summer when things are more relaxed and I can walk out to the garden for fresh veggies for the grill! Would love planning software to add to the variety of meals. Definitely a computer geek!
I like to plan a month at a time so I don’t duplicate too often but I still get in a rut with the same 30 dishes or so.
I plan the meals the best I can. I enjoy planning, but my work schedule changes constantly.
I am your facebook fan.
I would love this software. I love meal planning — I tried it a few times but don’t stay consistent with it.
I hate planning my meals, but once I have gone shopping and all I have to do is look at my meal calendar to see what is for lunch and dinner instead of staring at the fridge and pantry it makes me LOVE meal planning!
More hate than love….kind of like matching up socks. I would love a little assistance with meal planning.

I don’t mind doing menu planning, I do a rough plan for 2 weeks at a time and sometimes I’ll change it up depending on sales or time factors.
I love menu planning because I save money and don’t have the “what’s for dinner” rut at 4pm everyday. And sometimes I love actually doing the planning. But sometimes it’s just another chore and seems to take longer than it should. This software looks great!
I already follow you on facebook! I also want to add I think I would LOVE the grocery list option of this software, I hate making grocery lists!
I picked the square foot gardening – more frog drama post. I loved that one.
It is sure a love relationship
My beginning of the week planning turns out much better than end of the week. I seem to run out of steam and ideas!
I love meal planning because it’s a record of things we’ve eaten. Then when I run out of ideas for things to cook I can reference it.
I follow you on Twitter and Facebook.
You can never get too much of a good thing.
I “liked” the ‘Printable Planners’ post. These are great because they include a section shopping list & a section for coupons. WOOHOO!
I like menu planning because I do family child care and it saves time.
I get the e-mail letter. Susan steveac@bellsouth.net
Every weekend I sit down and plan out our week of dinners and make my list… ugh!!
I am a subscriber!
Not a fan of meal planning. I cook in batches then freeze it. There are always a lot of containers of food in the freezer that don’t go together!
My menu planning is simple but fairly effective. Sundays, I write down on a calendar on the fridge what we are having each day of the week. It helps me use what I already have and completely prevents us from eating out on a whim. Only trouble I occasionally have is planning the side dishes. We do salad, jell-o & mashed potatoes a lot!
I follow you on Twitter. Love it!
I like the Bacon, Broccoli & Tomato Pasta recipe. I think it can be very low-fat & fresh. Will probably try it this weekend. I “Liked” it on Facebook.
Hate-Hate-Love relationship. I totally GET that menu planning works, that it makes things easier, and that its good for me. As with exercise, its something I do for a while and then avoid. Oh the consequences!
I love to plan, but meal planning overwhelms me. I have a child with severe food allergies, so I can’t just copy the plans of others…they don’t work for my family. I also have children in sports and our schedule may change from day to day, so I have a healthy meal planned and prepped, then we eat at McDonald’s because there is not time to come home before the ballpark! Very frustrating! Perhaps this software would help bring it all together.
I hate meal planning. It never turns out like I think it should because we aren’t hungry for what I have planned on the days I planned it.
I dislike menu planning. It takes time and I feel like I make the same things over and over!
I always have good intentions to plan our meals (it’s just hubby and I @ home now) but life always seems to get in the way!
I am a mess at planning meals. I try to do it, but I am disorganized. I need help!
I would LOVE to do the menu planning thing more often but I HATE the time it takes.
I follow you on Twitter
@spartyguard
i love menu planning. unfortuanately i usually don’t follow through with my menus.
i’m following you on facebook now.
i “liked” your “Mint.com” money post. hubby and i are using microsoft money, but it is old and when this puter dies i know it won’t work on the new ones or hubby’s laptop. thanks for the info we’ll def. check it out.
I think menu planning software would definitely help me get organized with my menu planning. I struggle with menu planning and so I would say my relationship with it is nonexistent!
