CLOSED! Pampered Chef Deep Covered Baker Giveaway

Congrats to #119 Joann L!  She is the winner of this fabulous Deep Covered Baker!

CLOSED!!  This giveaway has now closed.  Winners will be announced shortly…

This week I’m giving away a Pampered Chef Deep Covered Baker to 1 lucky reader.

Lemme share this quick story with you (and nope…not being paid to share it!)  A few weeks ago, I was doing a photoshoot for the cookbook and we were running a little behind schedule.  I didn’t want the photographer to have to wait an hour while the chicken baked in the oven.  I remembered that I had just received this deep covered baker in the mail and, having skimmed through the recipes, knew that it would cook the meal twice as fast if I threw it in the microwave.

So, I loaded all the ingredients into the deep covered baker and popped it into the microwave for 24 minutes.  Voila!

Done in half the time (that particular recipe normally bakes 50-60 minutes in the oven!).  And not only that, but my kitchen didn’t get HOT because I made it in the microwave!

I will be sharing another recipe for tonight’s dinner that I cooked in the deep covered baker…in the microwave!

Chicken Penne al Fresco coming right up!

But while you wait for dinner, go on ahead and enter to win one of these for yourself :)

This is the first time I have left a comment for a give away. I love pampred chef and would love to win this for my hubby. He enjoys cooking more than I do.

My favorite casserole recipe = Chicken Pot Pie. Hubs likes it too- he doesn’t realize that I make it when I have leftover chicken or turkey… He won’t touch leftovers otherwise! Thanks for the giveaway!

My newest fave din casserole, I recently had at a Pampered Chef party and have been trying to convince myself I had to buy this covered baker so I could make it in the oven! LOL! Its the PC Mexican Lasagne. YUMMOO! You may be able to get the recipe off of the PC site.

  5. Julie says

My favorite recipe in the fall is Italian Beef with Peppers…so easy and sooo tasty. Just pop everything into a crockpot and let it cook all day when I am at work.

  7. Heather says

I loooove any casserole with sausage, cheese, and rice/or grits. I even eat them in the summer when everyone else thinks its too hot!

Love to win we recently went to a party and they had chicken in the baker and cooked in microwave was awesome. Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

  9. Wanda says

My favorite recipe is kinda sneaky: I add drained, flaked tuna to the venerable Green Bean Casserole before baking, and out comes a fab one-dish meal! Thank you for the drawing.

I would love to enter for this draw! I’m not a big cook, and I’m always looking for anything that will help me stick with my plans to cook at home. Biggest draw backs for home cooking for me are the cost often seems so expensive (I realize it’s not really, on most things anyhow.) and the length of time it takes to cook. As a part time working and very busy volunteering mom of two little girls (ages 3 and 6), I need all the help I can get in the kitchen. This baker would be a Godsend!

I don’t have the recipe right on hand, but one of my favorite cool weather recipes is crockpot taco soup. Mmm! Serve it over some fritos w/a dolop of sour cream and a sprinkling of shredded cheddar, and it’s simply delicious. An easy meal that the whole family loves!

Thanks again for yet another entry!

I enjoy using Pampered Chef. This would be a great addition to my barren kitchen. Ben using glass pans that a company no longer makes and they are all breaking. Down to just one pan. Pampered Chef pans cook more evenly and are more dependable.
