Inspirational gifts…love giving them, love receiving them. Love having positive words and reminders scattered around my home.
That’s why I’m particularly excited about this giveaway…you get to make your own holiday gift basket from Dayspring!
I received a lovely gift pack from them…including a clock that now adorn the home office in our new home, along with a mirror and key holder that I’m going to hang by the garage door in the laundry room…just as soon as we can get it painted (this weekend, honey?!?). And I also got the “Redeemed Letters” that will go on the mantle with garland and other Christmas decor that we’ll put up next week!
Shop the Dayspring store for holiday decor and browse the gifts too. Use the coupon code HolidayBash2012, for 25% off the entire store, good through Monday, November 19th. (Sweet savings!)
This week, we’re giving away 1 $100 Dayspring Gift Card to 1 winner! Entry details…

This year I am trying to make all the gifts I am giving by myself. My favorite so far is a wooden sign for my parents RV that says their name and state they are from. I am using a wood burning pen to make it:)
I always love our tree the best. It holds many memories of Christmases past.
My nativity is not all that spectacular but it always makes me smile because my kids loved arranging the pieces.

I’m glad to be getting my children some gifts this year I know they will enjoy. Last year, we couldn’t do much for my college kids, but this year, we got some good gifts. These are my favorite gifts to give…something requested, and known liked gifts.
I love to decorate with Nutcrackers.
When the washer agitator cracked 2 weeks before Christmas, I saved that and decorated it with pointsettias stuck in the holes and a red candle in the big enter hole. Looked great on the dining room table. Got many compliments. Repairman thought we should go into business – people just threw away their damaged agitators. It didn’t happen!
