Big Meals, Little Budget – Angie’s Chicken Pizza-dillas

The Chicken Pizza-dilla is a favorite around our house! The kids like it because it’s so easy to customize to individual tastes (meaning they don’t have to eat the gross stuff), and I like it because it’s affordable, filling, and really easy to make.

Sometimes I’ll make little individual ones for the kids to embellish themselves, swapping biscuits for the pizza dough.  That makes it not only dinner, but a fun family activity as well.

Now, if only we could turn doing the dishes into a fun family activity, that would be cool!!!

My kids have turned doing dishes into fun – it’s still not their favorite job but they joke and play games while they work together. It took years for this to happen – but I’m so glad it finally did! :)

My (picky eater) teen daughter uses ketchup & ranch dressing, together, for chicken strips, hot dogs & corn dogs. I’ve refused to try her concoction, but your recipe combines ranch, pasta sauce & cream cheese, so there must be something to it! I will be trying this recipe out soon, especially because the basic ingredients are all things she will eat. That hardly ever happens!

so glad I found this site. Each recipe is unique and is calling my name. This is one that I know my family of 8 will eat with no complaints. Think I could use homemade pizza dough instead? I make my own each friday night for pizza night. Maybe one week I will do this instead of the norm.

homemade dough would be awesome! I’m sure it would work perfectly.
I’ve been meaning to try that to get some whole grains in there, but I usually need dinner done fairly quickly to get to various kid activities.
