Last year when I went to visit the Smuckers Headquarters, I met Nicole from Baking Bites. The Smuckers Food Team made a few of the different recipes that we had posted on our sites for breakfast. I took one bite of Nicole’s Jelly Filled Donuts (recipe in her cookbook), and I about started drooling right there. (Probably not the smartest thing to do while conversing with the CEO of Smuckers!)

I’ve got a bit of a sweet tooth. And I don’t make many desserts on purpose! But when I do bake, I like to bake fun and different treats to munch on! If you are a baker looking for some new recipes to try, then this cookbook is for you…

    My favorite dessert is plain cheesecake. I absolutely love to enjoy the pure creaminess of it, no toppings, no nothing!

    I love strawberry rhubarb pie. It’s my favorite because I love the tart/sweet combo and it reminds me of my grandparents. They grew rhubarb in their backyard and my grandmother used to bake with it.

    I love sooo many deserts, it is so hard to pick just one! But I will go with Key Lime Pie, with whipped cream. Yum!

    You got me thinking about the rhubarb pie my mom used to make in the spring. She taught me how to make great pies. I love rhubarb pie & try to make it whenever I can find some good fresh rhubarb. Of course, any cheesecake is much better. Love it.

    I luv Bread Pudding…there are so many ways you can make it and change it up. You can add fruit, nuts even chocolate(or other flavors) chips.
    You can save your ends in a bag in the freezer,use cookie crumbs or go fancy and use brioche.
    You can top it with different flavors of hard sauce(I like bourbon) or yogurt or ice cream.
    The possibilities are endless and that’s why it is my favorite dessert!

    I started getting a little hungry reading the dessert choices on the page. My favorite dessert out at a restaurant is a flourless choc waffle which has yummy gooey ganche in the middle. My favorite other dessert is a almond cake that my friend makes. See the pattern that other people make things so I would like to get the cookbook that comes weith someone to make it :)

    I love pecan pie. YUM! Unfortunately we only have it at Thanksgiving…or maybe that’s a good thing since I would have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

    My favorite dessert is Texas Sheetcake. I grew up with my mom making this for family get togthers and it just reminds of happy times. And it tastes great as well.

    Carrot Cake….it’s my favorite…I always used to say that was the only way my mom could get me to eat my veggies :-)

    Anything my mom bakes is my favorite! If I have to choose… I’d say her chocolate stout cake is pretty high on the list.

    I just love getting this email newsletter. One of my favorite deserts is chocolate cake topped with hot fudge sauce and cherry pie filling and a dollop of whipped cream.

    I think it’s gotta be brownies. Not mix brownies, butt he really good made from scratch ones. Because – they can be a simple bar cookie for a family dinner or a picnic, or you can fancy them up – add delicious nuts or chips, frosting, whatever – and make them SUPER special.
    That said – Cheesecake has to run a close second!! :)

    My favorite dessert would have to be icecream. It’s always what I crave when I want a sweet treat. I could eat it everyday! I don’t, but I could! My favorite flavor is chocolate malted crunch sold at Rite Aid (Thrifty brand). If they go out of business and I can’t get my chocolate malted crunch, I don’t know what I’ll do!!

    My favorite dessert is Paula Deen’s Not Yo’ Mama’s Banana Pudding. It will blow. your. mind. it’s SOOO good! I use regular Nilla Wafers rather than the Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies it calls for.

    My favorite dessert to make is one my grandma passed on to my mom, called Cherry Delight. It is kind of like a cheesecake (made fluffier by mixing with DreamWhip) with a thicker nuttier crust. To die for! Every time I make that dessert I feel like they are in the kitchen with me and it is all good and right in the world!
