Angie’s Wonton Taquitos

taquitos

I started telling my husband about a wonderful recipe I was creating using wonton wrappers as taco shells. I thought the kids would enjoy some baby tacos. (Everything tastes better when it has baby in the title). He replied, “You mean taquitos?” I said “What? That’s a thing?” and after a google search, sure enough, I did not invent the taquito. But, they were delicious and versatile! Some kids dipped them in salsa, some in sour cream and others in avocado. They were easy to make and gone in a flash. This would be a super easy make ahead dinner if you had your beef already made and could just pull it out and roll up!
