A Very Merry and Blessed Christmas from The (Silly) Chases

(Before we get started. Yes, I’m a matchy-matchy mom. But only once or twice a year. Usually a photograph is involved. And they go something like this, so then I wonder why I bother!)

First up, what appears to be an intense rendition of the Hallelujah chorus by Charlie.

Then the, seriously mom…seriously. I’m too old for matchy-matchy.

Which is precisely why Carter’s sizes stop at 7…so I can’t match you with your brothers anymore. Thank Carter’s. Not me.

Ooooh. 50-50. 1 1/2 smiles out of 3. Getting there.

Mom, I think 56 photos is enough. Can I take a nap now?

Candy….you said something about candy?

(There may or may not have been mention of candy. Chocolate. Sitting on Santa’s lap. The Easter Bunny (complete with bunny ears hopping behind my phone…this is why they are all actually looking at the phone.))

(Oh, and I snapped quite a few with my “real camera”…except when I went to look at them after we were done I had given up, it read “no card in camera.” Boo.)

Then this…

Such a clown this one.

I laughed.
Then I quit.

Well, I didn’t really quit. I quit for that moment anyways.

Then later, I had them crawl up on a somewhat horizontal tree branch at the park near my mom’s house.

I figured they’d have to be somewhat still.

Still-ish. Anyways.

2 outta 3 smiling ain’t bad…we’ll take it.

(And that’s a wrap!)

Merry Christmas Y’all…from my sillies to yours!

It is always hard to get them all to smile and look your way in the same picture. I love seeing all of the pictures and your captions. Getting them to sit on the tree branch was a great idea. Merry Christmas. Have your camera ready when they open their gifts. I’m sure you will get plenty of smiles then.

I think you have the ultimate collage christmas card (winkflash, of course) with the outtakes. Adorable!!! I’d be laughing for hours after getting that – perfect holiday cheer! Thanks so much for sharing the fun.

These pics bring back so many memories of trying to get our boys to take a nice picture. I never happened until this year 15 years later.
