My husband isn’t picky, so often he gets the same lunch every day (sandwiches). I try to switch it up a bit by using flavored mayo or spicy mustard. If we have leftovers in the fridge, he’ll take them too.

I am pretty boring with my daughter’s lunch, but I do try to mix it up when she packs more than once day a week. Usually its PB&J, lunch meat sammy, or “homemade” lunchables. Add in a piece of fruit and a snack item, and we’re set!
salads and things like lean pockets, turkey or ham roll ups, soup, wheat thins/triscuts and cheese are things I like to pack for lunch.

i’m not doing so well with creativity on lunches,, but my 10 yr old is picky, so at least I know he’s gonna eat it. Although he has told me of some of the “neat stuff” his friends’ moms pack in their lunches. So, maybe there’s hope with some positive peer pressure

Preparing lunches can be a very challenging task, especially when you have picky eaters. I try to prepare 2-3 days when planning our dinners for the week. Left overs for these days and sammy’s and assorted snacks, try to keep it on the healthy side. My mom loves to bake, so we are hardly ever short on desserts. Plenty of water, which seems on sale every week. Just remember to recycle all those plastic bottles.
I love to bring salads to work with me!
I use cookie cutters to stamp out different sandwich shapes.
We use a lot of leftovers for next day lunches, but our kids work out a plan for 4-6 lunches with me in the summer. We rotate those 4-6 lunches for much of the school year.

I think people do not use a hot thermos often enough. We use it for healthy soups, beans & franks, macaroni & cheese etc. when sending “lunchbox” meals to school.
I subscribe to your emails!
My kids love gogurts and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I am not too creative, but at least they will eat it.

I like making enough at dinner so I can use it for lunch the next day. I heart leftovers.
I keep lunchboxes from being boring by switching up the menu. One day might be homemade Lunchables. The next day a chicken & cheese quesadilla. Then a peanut butter & honey sandwich. Always with a variety of fruit & cracker choices.

One of my kids’ favorite items for packed lunch is a peanut butter roll-up. Take a 6-inch flour tortilla, spread it with peanut butter and sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the BP. Then roll it up! Even at 15, they still request it when we pack a lunch for a daytrip. (It’s no longer “cool” to pack a lunch in high school! haha) Thanks for a great give away!

I let the kids pick what they want for lunch so if they don’t like it they only have themselves to blame. We home school so we don’t have to pack lunch but my favorite thing to do for lunch is sandwiches on good soft bread.
My son is extremely picky but is a healthy eater (thank goodness!) I usually mix up the fruit to keep it interesting (oranges, grapes, apples, banana’s etc). He’s a big fan of PBJ so once in a while, when I can find a good sale, I’ll buy him the uncrustables, which is a HUGE time/sanity saver because I already work 2 jobs and coach soccer in the spring and fall. His favorite “treat” is homemade cookies which I get around to about once every 3 months. When I get desperate I buy lunchables and add a piece of fruit. My favorite meal at work is something home made. I don’t have time to cook a lot so when I do, I cook a lot and enjoy it for 3 days.
