Remember when I went to Smuckers?

And we got to learn about food photography…The assignment was to decorate one of the goodies on the left with the toppings and frosting up above. Then photograph your creation!

I had to do some practice strokes (above) with the Easy Frost frosting because I’d not used it in the past.  I didn’t want to botch my cookie creation!!!  I typically make my own frosting and attempt to decorate cakes and cupcakes…but they just don’t always turn out right.  Whether the frosting is too ooey-gooey or too thick, I just can’t ever seem to get it right.  I even have and use some cake decorating tips and equipment!  So if you are frosting challenged like I am, you might consider using the new Pillsbury Easy Frost No-Fuss Frosting.

And be frosting challenged no more!

To put yourself and the can to the test, consider entering the Pillsbury East Frost Challenge!!!

All you have to do is decorate a homemade baked good of their choice with and submit an original photo of the wholly edible creation online.  Submissions can be entered online now through February 5, 2010.  The winning photo will be posted in March 2010 and will win $10,000 and a year’s worth of Pillsbury Easy Frost No-Fuss Frosting.  There are also 4 runner-up prizes, a gift basket full of Pillsbury baking products and a Flip Video Camera, up for grabs.

If you’re a dessert lover, it’s time to unlock the frosting fun, think creatively and transform your favorite homemade baked good into a dessert masterpiece. For more details on how to enter, head on over to the Easy Frost Challenge homepage!

@pam,

I don’t normally buy canned frosting…but for a special occasion where I wanted a nice looking cake/cupcake/cookie, I would buy this!
