My five year old loves to help me make dinner. He is my sous chef and loves to be called that. I let him do real jobs (mixing, stirring, pouring, scooping) and he loves it. He likes the praise he gets.

I just ask. I believe children are very interested in our world and I think it’s productive to include them whenever possible.
