Couldn’t agree more about the Risotto… Being married to an italian.. calling rice risotto won’t fly! It looks delish, however.. I would just call it Garlic Chicken Rice…

Risotto is cooked very differently than regular rice. I would rename this (delicous, I’m sure) recipe Garlic Chicken & Rice.

Part of frugal eating is enjoying the versatility and tastiness of staple ingredients. Not trying to pass them off as their fancier cousins.

To me, this recipe is like calling a recipe ‘Baked Brie’ and then listing cream cheese as the main ingredient.

this sounds great, but I think a risotto purist like me would be disappointed if that’s what I was expecting. Does it actually have the texture of risotto?
