Curious Chef CLOSED! Curious Chef Giveaway

Isn’t he adorable?!?  Chef Chase.

He absolutely LOVES to make cookies. And pancakes. And waffles. And soup.  Even chicken.  I adore watching him “shake” in the salt or use the whisk to mix up his “panpape batter”.  The creativity and possibilities are endless!

These Curious Chef products are perfect for little hands.  Easy to hold.  Easy to manipulate.  And easy to keep track of and organized (with their distinct design and colors!).  They have been a fantastic addition to our playroom kitchen and real kitchen too!

All 3 of my kids love to pretend in the kitchen. My daughter has a play kitchen in her room with lots of food and pans. She makes me a snack everyday before her naptime. It is so cute and fun
Thank you!

My boys love to bake pizza and cookies and use their tool bench as the “oven”. They also love to make us “coffee” and “tea” (it comes out of the wall, interesting).

My 3 yr old loves to take ‘orders’ then go to her play kitchen and cook up what we asked for. She’s also a great helper in my real kitchen.

Entry #3: What are/were your kiddos-nieces-nephews-grandkiddos favorite “pretend kitchen play” games?

So far my daughter’s favorite kitchen play game is to hide in the cabinets while I cook, she’s only 20 months, she’s not really into cooking yet. Oh, she loves to push the shopping cart around at my mom’s house though!

My little “cooker” would LOVE this! We had Occupation day at school recently he told the class that he wanted to be a “cooker” when he grows up so he can cook muffins for everyone! So cute!

Our favorite “kitchen play” is to make a restaurant. The kids take turns taking orders and cooking. They really love it when I let them use real cookies and juice in their little cups and plates.

What a lovely idea; I’d love to win! I LOVE to cook and eat well, and taught my daughters to do the same. My oldest daughter works as a chef at a Yoga Retreat Center. Now I want to be in the kitchen with my toddler nephew passing on the good chef family tradition!

My children used to make menus with all kinds of creative names for their dishes. We would sit at the table and “order” food. Then they would actually cook using real food. Some of their creations were pretty good. Once they even got a $5.00 tip from Grandpa!

My 18 month old Jeremy can’t wait to “wash” dishes and help clean up after meals. He’s great at putting the clean plastics away in their cabinet too.
But his favorite thing to do is mix things together in his special bowl. He likes to help mommie dump the measured ingredients in and then help stir them up.

My daughter would love this set, we cook together all the time. We put on our pretend chef hats and sing (“We’re the cookers, we’re the cookers, we’re the cookers, we’re the cookers, cookers, cookers, cookers, cookers!”) and dance around the kitchen while we are waiting for our food to get done.

My son would adore this! One of his favorite activities is helping me in the kitchen.

Reply

My favorite play kitchen item is cutting food (play food held together with velcro that kids can “cut” apart. My son is too young to use a real knife, so when I’m cutting up food for dinner, he can cut his play food.

I love watching my daughter play kitchen. She always pretends to make coffee and I think if she had the real supplies she could probably make it! I guess that just goes to show how play mimics life.
