I am NOT a meal planner. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I do have weeks where I am really good about planning meals but, for the most part, I’m not. I tend to go to the grocery store unprepared and wander. I end up buying a lot of stuff that sounds good but that do not go together nor make balanced meals!

I’m kind of a meal planner.. I buy in bulk for my bi-weekly shopping and to do so you need to plan out your meals ahead of time. I’ve never done anything like major pre-cooking for long time periods though.

I do try to meal plan, especially since we got really busy this school year for some reason. And, we have food allergies and are Celiac so we can’t rely easily on take out or restaurants. Makes things easier if I know what’s coming up. I have a hard time getting beyond a week at a time, though.

Oh, I soooo want to win this:)) Meal planning was one of my New Year’s Resolutions and I’m totally failing. I get it in fits and spurts but then get stuck feeding the kidlets the rotation of pasta, chicken fingers, quesadillas, and hot dogs while making an ‘adult’ version of the same for dh and I. HELP!

I try to be a meal planner, but things never quite work out like they should. Eating healthy is something that we are working on, but the budget makes it difficult. Something that could help me plan meals that takes into account our budget would be a huge help in serving healthier meals.

I try my best to meal plan, but sometimes it is hard to stick to. I find myself having too many leftovers or not wanting what is planned for that night. My moods change sometimes and that leaves us ‘fending’ for ourselves. Which is NEVER a good thing. I have an almost 3 year old, myself, and my husband to cook for. I want to be able to cook for them on a regular basis and be healthy as possible too. My husband has diabetes and totally eats everything that he should NOT eat. If I could stick to a meal plan that is healthier for my husband, and in turn, myself and my son, that would be wonderful.

I *am* a meal planner…but a slacker one. I love it because it saves me time and money…when I can get my act together. I think a 2 wk plan works best for me…my problem is getting motivated to sit down and make the calendar…and look in the freezer and fridge. Maybe tomorrow….

I would love to win this. I am not a planner as it seems to over whelming and I neve know what we are going to feel like eating once dinner time comes. It would be helpful to see a few menus and see how they are put together.

I plan a menu out for the month scattering my old faithful’s in throughout. It usually ends up changing some – but at least I have a starting point and a shopping list. It also helps me to only go to the store once a week or every 10 days or so.

I try to be a meal planner but some weeks are better than others. I really try to stick to our weekly grocery budget and plan meals, but I need to get better about planning meals around the sales ads and coupons not just what sounds good for the week. Also, I try to plan healthy meals for my toddler, husband, and I, but often run out of new ideas that I think we’ll all like. I’m not the best cook so I tend to stick w/ what I know I can make well.

I am a meal planner…..but it is a struggle. I just don’t want to be stuck in the same *rut* so I make it hard on myself by not setting a menu and sticking to it for more than one week. Also, even though I hate to admit it, I have some picky eaters. (Not the whiney, don’t even try it I know I won’t like it kind, but the I’ve tried it, more than once, and I really don’t like it, Mom, kind :) ) So, to have someone else come up with the menu would be GREAT!

I semi plan my dinners for the week. When I make my grocery list, I know what dinners we will be having for the week but I don’t know the order they will go in for the most part.
