UPDATE: This giveaway is now CLOSED!
Winner is #149 – Christy J., whose husband is GF and looking for something new to try! Congrats Christy!!!
One winner will recieve three boxes of GF (gluten free) pasta from DiPalo Selects! Winner will receive 1 box each of Le Veneziane gluten free Fettuccini, Penne, and Tubetti. These pastas are brand new to the US, and don’t even appear on their website for sale! We are getting an exclusive look and opportunity at these great new pastas!
Here are the specs on this new corn pasta from Italy:
“Produced in the corn producing region of the Veneto, Italy, Le Veneziane pastas are made with nothing but water and cornmeal, which lends them their vibrant yellow color. Designed specifically for those with a gluten intolerance, Le Veneziane cooks up al dente, just like classic pasta.”
I’ve not tried any type of corn pasta, but would think it would add not only a fabulous color, but also a unique taste to any pasta dish! So if you’re GF, if you know someone who is GF, if you have thought about going GF, then here’s your chance to try out some new pasta noodles!!!

I would love to win this pasta! I AM allergic to wheat, yet I do love pasta!
To prepare any pasta, it’s best to add some salt to the boiling water to prevent sticking of the pasta
I have a number of friends at church who eat gluten free due to health reasons. If I can create a new dish for them to try at the next potluck, then this could be the perfect product to use. I will be e-mailing those friends as soon as I am done here.
I love corn pasta! Please enter me to win.
My son’s girlfriend is over at our house quite often and when dinner rolls around sometimes it’s hard for me to come up with some dinner ideas that she can have, plus make it sound interesting enough to her so that she would even want to eat dinner at our house. Therefore, I would like to win!
Thanks,
terry
This is a great idea. I emailed my siliac friends to let them know about your giveaway. Hope they read their emails!

Because my son’s girlfriend hasn’t eaten pasta in our home but one time I can’t honestly choose which one is my favorite. We have only had spaghetti. So, I guess I will say, spaghetti!

I would love to win this GF pasta, since I love pasta & I’m trying to eat healthier. I didn’t do too well for my 50th year, so on my Aug. 21st B-day, turning 51, I’ll try, try again! Thanks for sharing & I enjoy your site every day! I told several friends and family members about this “deal” on Facebook!! If they win & I don’t, they have to fix me dinner. I thought that was ONLY fair! Don’t over cook pasta. After draining, I just add a little olive oil to the noodles to separate them easier. My best friend (for 50 yrs.) has a 100% Puerto Rican Mother who made lasagne for my B-day & her’s for years & years, as we lived right across the street from each other. It was all I could do to get her “secret” recipe, but accomplished at my bridal shower. Now, I make it for my family on special occasions! We even broke the traditional food menu for our Christmas dinner, it’s now lasagne!! It’s YUMM-O!!!
Wow! I didn’t know they made pasta from corn! This would be great.
Ooh – looks tasty! I’d love to win!
I’d like to win this to give to my niece who is GF and she is always looking for new products and recipes.
I want it!
I want to win because my son is gluten free and we love trying new food.
I’d really love to win this pasta for my BFF!
I have been gluten intollerant, anemic, sickly and in pain all my life but didn’t know it until 15 years ago. I discovered my ancestors were too. I learned about it at a time when there was very little information and few products available. My absolute favorite GF pasta has been “Tinkyada” which for me has been foolproof. But I am always open to try the new products coming out and recommend them to friends who also deal with the issue and are new at it and struggling to find their way. I also guide and assist local groceries in what products to carry for customers who are diet challenged. I would LOVE to try this product out. Thank you.
I posted this contest on my blog.
I want to win the Pasta!!
Add a little olive oil to the water when you boil it to keep the pasta from sticking together.
i would love to try this pasta and share it with my mom who is gluten intolerant!
oh and i tweeted (ellie88)
Just discovered I had celiac disease.
I would love to win this pasta!!!!
I’d love to win! I’m a celiac, and GF pastas are expensive!
I posted about this giveaway on my personal journal, in the LiveJournal celiac community, and on my budget blog:

Would love to win this, just found out our daughter has celiac disease, now she must learn how to feed herself and her family on a gluten free diet.
Do NOT overcook GF pasta. If you’re going for a firmer texture, make sure to rinse it in cold water immediately after draining. If your pasta sticks, a tiny bit of olive oil while cooking will help with that a little.
GF pasta is a lot more “delicate” than gluten pasta – gluten is what gives pasta and bread it’s flexibility. It is NOT a great choice for cold pasta salads.
I would like to win and have also reposted the announcement regarding this to the local celiac group and in a note on my facebook.
I would love to win this! My toddler can’t have wheat.
Thank you!
I would love to win this contest!
I have crossed posted this to my facebook account.
I’ve found that with corn pasta you have to watch it especially closely or it can clump up into thick bundles. Near constant stirring seems to help with this.
Gluten free spaghetti also makes a good substitute for noodles in chicken noodle soup. I’ve found that if the pot simmers a long time the noodles eventually break up into little 1″ long pieces which resemble a certain commercial brands variety of glutinious chicken noodle soup.
My husband has Celiac, and we could sure use some free pasta!
I emailed two friends, and posted to my facebook, blog, and twitter.
The trick I’ve found to rice pastas is to cook it a little longer than you think. The one we usually use firms up after it’s been drained. Your mileage may vary.
I have liked corn pasta, but my husband isn’t a fan. He loves my lasagna though, which has whatever I happen to have on hand in it–usually spinach, olives, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
As a Celiac living in an unfriendly area for those with special dietary needs, I would definitely appreciate the gf pasta!

I would love to win, I am new to gluten free cooking & am having a hard time adjusting. I have noticed that most gluten free pastas get really mushy so I’ve learned to really watch it & not over cook it. I have never tried corn pasta & would love to try it.
I would like to be entered to win the gluten free pasta. Both my mom and I have Celiac spru. We love to share our ideas of new products with a chapter in denver.
