Hi! I’m from Colombia, and I just found this web page through our local newspaper. I am really excited about it and very impressed with all the tips and recipes I found in your page. Unfortunatelly there are some things we dont find in Colombia like raspberries and blueberries, but I will try to use instead other ingredients. Congratulations and I hope to find more interesenting recipes!

Found a cookbook I’m exited about. “Fix, Freeze, Feast” It’s geared for clubhouse shoppers but easily adapts for stockpilers. It has quadruple meal size recipes that freeze well. Book includes reheat directions. It also has a recipe for homemade refried beans.

I’m hoping to put some meals up for when farmhand #3 arrives.

Oh, I hate shopping on Friday or Saturday. I find that Thursday is best. The produce is the freshest, the lines aren’t as bad, and the sales have just started. I plan my menus on Wed. when I get the sale papers.

Loss leader shopping is the way to go!

Hi Erin!
We grocery shop on Saturday or Sunday. It works out great because I have Martin’s help and it is much easier from a meal planning perspective. I hope it continues to work out for you guys too
