Good deal on the beef…..but I’m confused. Was it a 6# roast as you say in the recipe or was it a 5# roast as you say in the shopping trip???? Also, was the squash you used from the garden or was it from that pile of stuff you bought at the Farmers Market??? I admit its a great bargain to find a roast for 40 or 50 cents a pound.
Squash was from the garden. The roast was 1.6 lbs.
