I've never made chicken nuggets from scratch, but with this recipe they are really easy! I think I will make this with french fries next time because that was requested by my husband..Thanks for the ideas, kudos.

I don't like chicken but he & my 2 year old eat it occasionally, so he put a batch of these in the freezer so I can pop a few in the toaster oven for my daughter! So convenient and way less expensive than buying the little frozen boxes of nuggets for kids.

My husband made a batch of these for the freezer. I like the flavor that the dijon mustard gave the chicken :)

Yes…I was all out of bread crumbs! Would be a perfect alternative! It's just you get such a pasty look to the chicken without frying by using flour to coat.

Would bread crumbs or corn meal be just as economical instead of flour? erin, those nuggets are getting me motivated. my kids love them, and i'm always intimidated to make them. i HATE frying. baked in the oven might just be the right strategy... thanks.

not trusting mr linky… here’s my crockpot brisket pasta (with ideas for leftovers)<br
