Growing up there were ALWAYS two thing that could be found in the pantry…at ALL times! Tortilla chips and PACE PICANTE SAUCE! (Let’s just say my dad had has a slight obsession with the stuff!) So when Pace asked if I wanted to do a giveaway, I was thrilled. For nostalgia’s sake!
The lovely folks at Pace are giving away 5 different flavors of the Pace Specialty Salsas, along with a cookbook, so you can put your salsa to good use!
Pictured above are 3 0f the specialty flavors, Tequila Lime Salsa, Black Bean and Roasted Corn Salsa, and Pineapple Mango Chipotle Salsa. Winner will receive 5 jars of the Pace specialty salsas!

I’d love to win!
Whenever I have a bunch of chicken to cook I usually take several cups worth and after boiling it take it off the bone and put several cups worth in a quart sized freezer bag with several cups of salsa…. stick in the freezer and pull out some morning when we need a fast, simple meal for dinner. Makes for yummy chicken quesadillas in a hurry!!

Growing up, I usually mix salsa with pasta instead of tomato sauce. I would probably do that with one of these jars or serve it in a taco salad. Simple, I know. Maybe I’ll match it up with some grilled fish or something.

We use salsa in meals a lot in our house. My kids love homemade chicken enchiladas, fajitas and chicken quesadillas made with leftover chicken.

I use salsa as a burrito sauce. I cook it up a bit, add some taco sauce to it, and put it over burritos in a baking dish. The burritos turn out amazing, and the sauce is so easy! Everyone thinks I spent all day making it, little do they know!

We love tacos and taco salads. We also make a breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, salsa and a little sausage, bacon or ham.
