My biggest struggle is not sticking with the menu plan I make. The family schedule changes. Moods change and such

My biggest struggle is being organized when I get home from work. It is easier to pop a pizza in the oven then try to cook a meal. I need freeze more meals ahead of time.

As with most moms (and dad’s too), I struggle with trying to figure out what is for dinner, what I can make with ingredients on hand and without having to run to the store, and how to feed healthy without spending a fortune. I love knowing that I can always turn to 5 dollar dinners and find myriad of recipes that will be perfect solutions to this dilemma. Would love to get in on this giveaway, which I think would really help. Budgeting on a social security income (disabled here) can be tricky, but we are all in the same financial boat, no matter our income, and I thank you for being there for us.

Biggest struggle would be my DH… he doesn’t help with meal planning. he is totally the guy who eat hungry and looking in the frig/cabinets to see what’s available and then munches! I hate that. B/c he never tells me what he is hungry for so I don’t have it on hand.

I started coupon clipping as a New Year’s resolution and have saved at least $10 per week, usually more, on my family’s groceries. A few minutes of time each week is really worth it!

Finally, my biggest struggle is convincing my husband that meal planning isn’t a bad thing. I’ve done a month at a time once and I think that’s the best for us. He doesn’t feel as “locked in” for the meal as he does when it’s just a week.

My biggest challenge would be finding new ideas to cook. I am a very picky eater and my husband is not so much. I think he gets bored with the same old stuff all the time, though he doesn’t complain. That is why I enjoy this website! It gives me new, simple, healthy ideas!

My biggest struggle with meal planning is making sure that we will have time to create each dish on the specified week. It gets tricky sometimes!

my biggest struggle is getting an accurate grocery list to go with the meals I plan. Inevitably I forgot something for one or the other of the recipes that I need and don’t have a substitution for :(

On of the biggest struggles for me is getting home from work at 6:30 and having to cook dinner. When I plan meals I tend to change my mind when I get home whether because I’m tired or something came up. I try to come up with new meals, but I often get stuck in a rut.

The biggest struggle when I DO plan out our meals is DH & Dkids getting into ingredients I’ve set aside for certain meals. I also have a chronic illness, and for those days I can’t cook due to illness/ appointments, if I don’t have anything in the crockpot, I pull out one of our “emergancy pizzas” from the freezer and we have that!

I would like to have at least dinner better planned, so I won’t have to use those “emergancy pizzas”.
