My biggest challenge is trying to fix things that everyone will enjoy………planning is no longer fun for me, with 2 kids and a husband who all have different ideas on what the best meal should be……..let’s just say it makes meal planning a chore and it is quickly becoming one I don’t enjoy anymore!!! I would love to have new/fresh ideas on meals!!!

thanks!! :)

& my biggest struggle with making any meal is to make something that all 4 of us can agree on. I have 2 picky eaters in the family (one being my husband LOL) plus the time to make stuff….so I guess I have 2

My biggest struggle with meal planning is coming up with new meals that all 3 kids will eat. Along with making the time to sit down & actually do it.

Wow-very clever! This would be a really fun tool to use – perhaps it would cause one to rush to do the to meal planning! I would be delighted to win the Dinner Solution Software.

I want to win too! My biggest struggle has been getting healthy food on the table for a family of five – my husband and I work full time, one of my sons works full time too and the other is in sports after school, and my elderly mom lives with us. Somedays (most days) it’s hard to know what to make, let alone get it on the table.

My biggest challenge is trying to fix things that everyone will enjoy. my husband does not like the same things that I do, he HAS to have meat and LOTS of it. he’s not very willing to try new things an I hate eating the same old thing. My three year old just wants PB&J or cereal. Meal planning is NO fun and I ususally end up spending more than i can afford at the store to try and make everyone happy.

The biggest struggle I have with meal planning is coming up with new ideas that might satisfy everyone. Someone’s always on a diet, or not eating meat this week, or just plain doesn’t feel like eating what I’ve cooked. Just once, I’d like for there to be no complaints. I’d make reservations every night if I could afford it…

I struggle with getting things routine enough that it’s fairly easy to do, but with enough variety that I don’t feel like it’s the same ol’ same ol’, and getting my planning done in a timely manner.

I’m retired, raising my grandson and feeding an elderly neighbor and single working friend – what a wonderful tool this would be. My brains getting tired of thinking of new and tasty meals for a diverse group. What a great opportunity.

My biggest struggle is feeding a picky family and not eating the same thing week after week. We are a family of 5 most of the time and during the summer we have up to 10 people to feed and the extra mouths can make it tough on a very tight budget.

My biggest challenge is coming up with meals that don’t cost a fortune and aren’t the same thing we eat on a regular basis. We need more variety!

my hardest challenge is trying to provide easy to make, healthy to eat, inexpensive dinners for my whole family. i had to start working full time and have an even harder time planning meals. sometimes i feel like giving up and serving cold cereal for dinner (yes, i have done that).

5dollar dinners has really helped me make a homemade dinner for my husband (who is watching his weight) and my two sons (1 and 2).

i have previously tried menus4moms.com, ediets, saving dinner the old fashioned way and various other meal planning books.

since i am unable to cook every night and do not have an unlimited budget, five dollar dinner has been a natural fit for my family.
