I usually only make a weekly menu as my hubby is out to sea most of the time so there's really no need for me to make more then that. I'm thinking I may change my train of thought on that one though. I'll still shop only once or twice a week and save time when not knowing what to make.
Thanks Erin!!!

But I try to set up a monthly meal plan and I figure in the days that I have little time I use my crock pot or if we have other activities planned. I try to plan quick and easy meals that we can fix so that we can get out of the house quickly. We do take out once a week and it is usually pizza and were we like it from it only cost $5. each and it is not a chain. With it being summer we have more cool sandwiches and salads they take very little time if you are able to do most of you prep when you get home from the store and use the glad storage containers. Maybe these suggestions help and good luck with the book I will be looking forward to seeing it in print. Keep up the good work.
Sorry, forgot to add great post! Can't wait to see your next post!

I too am very busy although I am not writing a cookbook. lol I have 3 teens and they keep me going plus I work full time with a 1 hour round trip commute.
