Let simmer with sliced canned potatoes (use broth from potatoes for your 1 cup of water for gravy. You may need to add some additional water. Let sit in fridge for a night eat next day after ingredients have marinated with one another and this is delicious. My son's favorite meal. Don't have actually cost, but I know it's cheap because we get our beef for free. Venison!!

You can take 1 lb. of ground beef (brown it in skillet)once cooked add brown gravy packets (I like 2 packets) onion, minced garlic, add desired amounts of seasoning of allspice, garlic salt & pepper, onion,. Yes these prices are serious. I live in the midwest where food costs less than say NYC or Cali. I buy bread/buns when it's less than $1/package, so 4 buns would be $.50 or less (if I have a coupon!). Sweet potatoes are often on sale for $.59/lb - $.79/lb around here.

I always eat my burgers without buns, too- just like your boys. :)

I've found that my little George Foreman grill works on those chilly "non-barbecue" days. I've really been eyeing those summer grilling recipes lately, too!

Blessings,
Michele :)

Yum! Equally yummy, and a good source of calcium.

http://funkyfoodallergies.blogspot.com/search/label/sweet%20potato

If you love sweet potato fries you have to try turnip french fries.
