Looks yummy, and a lot healthier than the cream-style turkey and wild rice soups I've made.

We've been making a lot of soup in the crockpot lately, and I've been wondering about side dishes to go with soup. I usually just do some sort of bread or muffin, as the soups tend to be almost complete meals in and of themselves with protein, veggies, and some sort of starch. Some fruit would be probably be good.

I see that you served sweet potato with your soup, which I would never think to do. Any other thoughts on side dishes to go with soup?

Thanks!

That looks really good. We always use noodles, but I bet it would be tasty with rice!
Toni
