@Jennifer Higgins, I don't usually have good luck with Kroger's produce. Once, I actually picked out some apples right after I watched them get stocked, thinking they looked great of course. When I brought them home and started to slice them everyone of them was completely rotten on the inside. I have better luck with produce from Meijer or Walmart.

We made these last night and they were awesome, and the perfect amount of carbs for my diabetic daughter.

When it says Manager’s Special it means that the product will or has expired in a few days. I bought a manager’s special once and that it got all molded in a few days.

I like a vegitarian burrito wrap – mix one can of corn, once can of black beans, and one can of rotel or diced tomatoes, spoon into tortillas and top with shredded cheese, wrap top with a little more cheese if desired and bake in oven at 425 for about 10 min.

My favorite wrap is a chicken philly wrap. It’s so simple. Take any kind of wrap (we use whole wheat) and put grilled onions and peppers along with grilled chicken. Spread thousand island dressing onto wrap and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. So good!

Don’t you just love the Kroger Managers Special?? I can’t even tell you the deals I’ve gotten there, espeically in produce. My Kroger regularly has “almost expired” bread and buns for 25 – 40 cents per loaf/package. That’s better than I can get at the discount bread store.

My favorite wrap would be whole wheat tortilla, red leaf lettuce, light mayo, turkey and avacdo... you could call it Californian, it's also great with alfafa sprouts!

I also love hummus with assorted roasted veggies. Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil drizzeled with balsamic vinagrette. Chicken fajita wrap. And I second the greek wrap above, sounds divine!
