Hello, I have the same questions as above regarding the pumpkin pie spice and butter. You listed 2 t pumpkin pie spice–is this tablespoon or teaspoon? Also, is the butter for on top of the waffles or to be placed in the batter? Thanks for the help!!

I was so excited to give this recipe a try! While the waffles tasted good – they didn’t cook well. I had to leave the batter in the waffle iron for a long time to ensure that they were done – but for some reason the waffles stuck to the waffle iron. No amount of cooking spray or oil solved the problem. I don’t understand what happened!!

I am not one to mix chocolate with pumpkin for some reason.

I think I would alter the recipe to use Craisins instead of the chocolate chips.

We've done pumpkin pancakes before but didn't think to add things like craisins in it. That's a good idea.
