I was so excited to give this recipe a try! While the waffles tasted good – they didn’t cook well. I had to leave the batter in the waffle iron for a long time to ensure that they were done – but for some reason the waffles stuck to the waffle iron. No amount of cooking spray or oil solved the problem. I don’t understand what happened!!

I am not one to mix chocolate with pumpkin for some reason.

I think I would alter the recipe to use Craisins instead of the chocolate chips.

We've done pumpkin pancakes before but didn't think to add things like craisins in it. That's a good idea.

Why do I love recipe blogs so much? Maybe “pumpkin” and “chocolate” have something to do with it. They also have something to do with my “muffin top.”
