Looking forward to getting some recipes. How do you break down the cost. I noticed the onion was 20 cents. How do you get that number?

I love how your recipes are so unique. I also love how specific your niche is. Looking forward to getting some recipes. There is salsa in the name and ingredient list, however the directions do not call for it. Should I have added it in??

I made this soup tonight! Yum! I also fried the corn tortilla strips in olive oil instead of baking them and they turned out extra tasty!! Very good recipe if you're on a tight budget. My entire grocery bill for a whole pot of this soup was $12 but it will last for a long while for just a single person and also a small family. The limes made the whole dish. I quartered fresh limes, squeezed the juice into the soup and then put the whole piece of lime in it. It reminded me of a soup I once had in Chicago at a mexican restaurant. Very good recipe!!

I replaced regular cumin with a packet of taco seasoning and also added a can of black beans. Really tasty, and the tortilla chips are a welcome change from the standard bun.<br/>As for the cost of the broth, it would be more expensive if you buy the actual liquid stock, but less if you use boullion cubes.

This is one of my favorite recipes.
