1. Have a Menu Plan!
2. Check the ads for meat sales before you shop and keep a little notebook with the cheapest prices for the different cuts you like to purchase!
3. Keep a stock of meats in your freezer!
4. Sign up for store coupons and add ecoupons to your store’s rewards card at Shortcuts.com!
5. Look for Manager’s Special items!
6. Buy Value Packs or bulk packages and freeze into smaller meal portion freezer bags!

Hey Erin,
Great advice. I’ve already been using your tips for watching for when meat goes on sale in the flyers and coupons. It totally changes how you meal plan when you sit down with the weekly flyers. It’s amazing how much you can save!

I just checked out shortcuts.com and unfortunately it doesn’t apply to me in Canada since we don’t have any of those grocery stores. Do you read any frugal blogs that are Canadian so I can see if they have any coupon website suggestions?
