Zucchini Stew

Soup Zucchini Stew A delicious and light soup with zucchini and chicken! A favorite that is sure to warm your tummy!

 Zucchini Stew

Ingredients
1.5 Chicken Breast ($1.50)
4 cups chicken stock (Free…I freeze leftover juices/stock from when I cook chicken in the crockpot!)
2 zucchini, chopped ($.99)
1 can tomatoes ($.70)
1 cup uncooked rice ($.20)
1/2 onion chopped ($.30)
2 cloves garlic ($.10)
S/P
2 sweet potatoes ($1.19 )

Directions
Add stock rice, chicken breast (cube), zucchini, tomatoes, onion, garlic and S/P to pot or crockpot. Let simmer an hour or cook on high for 6 hours. Serve with cooked sweet potatoes (1/2 per person).

new here also ..its there a way to print the recipes out without getting the whole page of advertisments? the recipes look good but up here in northern illinois the prices on some of the same items are alot higer..but i have alot frozen for winter so i might just be able to manage ..wish i knew about this site years ago would have saved me tons of money…will be back to visit everyday for something new ..thanks for making this website we surely need one….

Hi Kathy, I too am new to this site. I Love it!! As far as Printing without the Advertisements, I always Highlight the words (Recipe in this case), then RIGHT Mouse Click, select COPY with the LEFT Click then PASTE it to a WORD Document or if you don’t have one I would Paste it to a DRAFT e-mail & Print it out later.
You will PASTE the same way as you COPY. When you go to a Blank Word Doc. or E-mail you can Click on the Page & then RIGHT Mouse Click & Select PASTE with a LEFT Click. Once you have done this a couple of times it will be easy to remember.
